Our website is here to help you find out more. We know that making a claim can be scary and feel like really hard work, so we have put together some frequently asked questions because you are not alone in your concerns.

Get in contact with us

Filling out a form might be easier for you than speaking to someone. This is why we give you both options to get your claim started. Our friendly team will then pass your details to our specialist medical negligence solicitors who will assess if you have a claim.

Discuss your case with a solicitor

A specialist medical negligence solicitor will call you to discuss your case. They may ask you some more questions and are there to help you answer any questions you might have about the process. You are under no obligation to continue with the claim and we will not charge you a fee for putting your initial consultation.

If the solicitor doesn’t feel you have a case, you will be directed to the correct place to make a complaint, so you can get some answers about your treatment.

Is it right to claim against the NHS?

We believe that the NHS is a fantastic service and on the whole it provides a high standard of care to its patients. However, if something goes wrong and someone in that service causes you harm, or the standard of care provided to you was not reasonable, then you are well within your rights to make a claim.

You can make a complaint to Patient advice and liaison services (PALS) before you make a claim, but services and doctors do not always admit to something going wrong.

When you make a claim after something has gone wrong you are not only getting justice for yourself but you are highlighting the issue to the NHS so they can learn from it and avoid the same mistakes in the future.
